Just an FYI or a rumor I heard the other day.  This is for you shooters out there that had visited the TSI Outfitters store before it close.  Anyway I have learned that the owner(s) have set up shop again.  I haven't got all the detail yet but they have set-up a small repair shop.  They do not have archery lanes nor do I think they have the retail store.  But from what I was told they are able to do all the pro shop repairs like they did in the past.  But like I stated at the beginning this is only a rumor and has not yet been confirmed.  When I find out more I will let everyone know here.

after hunting 6 days in boxelder county i found my self in need of new arrows due to high sage brush and the muzzy phantom destroying my  shafts. a freind sent me to Bear River City to Archers Country Market. I may have missed the name a little but it was Archers something. i was surprised when i pulled up to a conveince store with 2 gas pumps in the same building as the post office with a "Hoyt Authorized Dealer" banner in the window. Several hoyt bows hung on one wall, arrows, shafts, broadheads, inserts, vanes, camo, nuts, bolts etc.etc. the lady working the counter went out of her way to call her husband who had just returned from a week hunt in the book cliffs and was working on his truck to come to the store and take care of me. he gladly cut down 1 dozen beaman ICS Hunters all ready fletched and supplied me with the vibrabrake inserts. all for $67. if you are in box elder county check them out!! the service was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

I didn't even know Bear River had a City

Ok here is an update on my post.  I gave the former owner of TSI a call today and a nice little chat with him to settle this little rumor.  Yes he has set-up a small archery pro-shop here in Salt Lake that he runs part time.  He doesn't have a retail store any more nor shooting lanes like they had before.  But he is set up to take care of your archery needs.  He said it was alright for me to pass along his name to whomever because it would be helpful to get the word out that he is up and running a shop again.  So if you’re interested in contacting him PM me and I will pass along his name and number so you can call him.  You will have set up an appointment to see him because he is running this shop part time.

I live just a little east of there. where were you hunting? i have been in there before and i like it alot. i like going there to drool and the guy is way nice! he cut my shafts for free because i had to wait. i like the store alot, and they will help you out! btw he also owns Salt Creek 3d. thats a pretty fun place to shoot! he will take care of you. i can't explain how nice he is. defiantly a looker. he doesn't own the biggest shop but it works right? and i had the same expression. we went to get some gas and i saw the hoyt sticker. Great guy and i will defiantly be going there again!

Darin and those guys are absolutely awesome.  My neighbor and I went out to one of their shoots and just shot for fun.  But we spent a little bit of time talking to them and he gave us both a T-shirt and we promised we'd send out some e-mails to give archers in the area of where they are located.

I know this post it old but I just had to put my 2 cents in. The other day Bowless (he is now bowowner) went over to UAC to shoot and sight in a bowtech commander compliments of Bluecrikmuley. The draw length was to long and we needed a set of 28.5 modules UAC doesn't carry any bowtech stuff so I called down to Sportsman's warehouse to see if they had anything in stock. I talked to Clay and he said that he had a few options and if we came down he would help us out, If anyone doesn't know who Clay is you should stop buy and talk to him for a second when you get a second he's a pretty cool guy.  We jumped into the car and headed down and got to work on the bow. The first think that I thought was cool is that he said that he would trade modules at no cost as long as we traded our modules for his. When I got modules for my bowtech at another shop there wasn't even and option I had to buy the new ones and keep the old ones $25 just to change my draw length and I was ok with that until now. So with the new modules on he had bowless shoot the bow a few times to make sure every thing was okay, after a few arrows Clay took the bow and went back into the shop. When he came back he had untied the peep, and kisser. and had moved the site. He started to work on the bow getting peep tied in the kisser in the right spot got a 20 yard pin setup adjusted the rest and release and gave some instruction on how to shoot. He just made my job super easy I didn't have to even touch the bow I went and looked at turkey calls. He took the bow one more time and at that point Bowless was a little worried that he wasn't going to have enough cash in is pocket to pay for all the labor. When Clay came back he handed the bow to Bowless and said "here you go if you need anything else come back and ask for me and I'll help you out." NO CHARGE! So the next day we were talking about how the site was bottomed out and his 20 yard pin was off but he couldn't adjust it any more. I told bowless to call back and see if Clay was there and ask if he could come back and work on the LBS of the bow and see if he could adjust it and get the pin set better. Bowless took the bow back and again Clay worked on the bow for a while got the poundage up to 63 and got the 20 yard pin set and once again he spent some time and helped him out. NO CHARGE!

I know Sportsman's is a big Chain but they have some good guys who are passionate about archery working there.

It is people like that who are a credit to this sport.  Understanding Bowtech modules and being able to manuever thier cams is a feat even of itself.  That is cool he would be willing to go THAT far out of his way to help you guys out.  Very impressive.
