i am trying to change my profile picture but after selecting the picture I want to use; I click on change profile and it erases the picture I selected?  Why is that or what am i doing wrong?

i will jerk dustins chain, but one possible reason is the size of the file you want to swich to is too big. i'm pretty sure there is a limit. maybe photoshop it down to a smaller size file and try that. i can barely see the avaters anyway so quality isn't that big of an issue.

can you try to change it to a profile picture that is already in the system? I curious if it is an issue with the size or if my hosting company has messed up the rights again. I looked over the error logs but didn't see anything related to you.

Well i found my problem.  the picture I was trying to use was way too big.  i taught myself how to shrink the size of my pic so it would be compatable.  Hence the new Profile pic. Cheesy
